What time do I have my ceremony?  It truly is a matter of preference. Morning/Brunch weddings are becoming increasingly popular. Although most photographers like to shoot their photos during the “golden hour”, which is normally the last hour before sunset. You can Google “what time is sunset” for your wedding date and plan for 1 to 1 and a half hours before sunset. A popular time is between 4 & and 5 pm.

For weddings during our summer months- sunset can be as late as 9 pm, so that theory will not work. A good rule of thumb is approximately 6 hours prior to your venue's end time.

How soon should I send out my invitation? It is best to send your wedding invitations 4 to 5 months prior to your big day. This ample amount of notice provides out-of-town guests enough time to plan their trips, while still allowing for some late RSVPs.

Does my bridal party have to be even on both sides? If there is a very noticeable difference between the number of bridesmaids and groomsmen in your wedding, you can have the bridesmaids and groomsmen stand on one side together during the ceremony. This is a more modern take that works best for non-traditional wedding ceremonies.
